Experience the art and science of winemaking with a tutored tour of Whispering Brook’s vineyards and winery. Discover the behind the scenes ‘day in the life of a viticulturist and winemaker’. Immerse yourself in the best vintage in living memory in the Hunter Valley with a spectacular wine flight tasting of our 2014 vintage wines. Our wine flight consists of three different wine varietals from the 2014 vintage served in Riedel glasses accompanied by tasting notes and Whispering Brook artisan olive oils served with crusty bread.
- All tours and tastings are by appointment from Friday to Sunday 11.00 – 3.00pm

Set in the beautiful, sheltered park in the main street of Broke, the market is a relaxing way to add to all that Broke Fordwich has for visitors and locals. A perfect addition to your wine tour experience.
From a stall providing a BBQ to gourmet food products. Even the kids get a look-in with a great range of toys from hand made timber toys to kites and games. A selection of jams and pickles as well as a presentation of gourmet food products adds to the diversity of this great little market. With a state of the art set of swings and climbing frames in the market, the kids can have a ball while mum and dad take their time bargaining for bargains!

A Little Bit of Italy in Broke

This 2-day boutique event gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy a great Italian fiesta, experience mouth watering gourmet delights, beautiful wine and fantastic live entertainment. Broke is an easy trip from Sydney or just 15 minutes drive from the heart of the Wine Country. Now in its 12th year, the festival started out as a private dinner catered by an Italian chef, but has now grown into a celebration of all that is wine, food, music, family and community.
Gnocchi Making Classes

Il Cacciatore Restaurant in Pokolbin who offer Northern Italian inspired cuisine using fresh local produce and authentic Italian ingredients will again be holding a Gnocchi Making class at Catherine Vale.
